Bethesda is dropping a huge Fallout 4 Creations storage upgrade for console players on May 27, and mod fans are going to feel this one.
Xbox Series X and Series S players get the biggest win, with Creations storage scaling up to 100GB. PS5, PS4, and Xbox One users are jumping from 1GB or 2GB up to roughly 15GB. That is a serious leap for anyone who has been holding back on downloading larger, more ambitious mods.
Bethesda called it a “significant” increase, and honestly, that tracks. Console modding for Fallout 4 has always felt cramped compared to PC, so this update changes things in a real way.
One heads-up though: players on current and last-gen systems with saves older than November 10, 2025 could run into issues. Starting a fresh save before the update drops should keep your playthrough safe.
More mods, more chaos, more caps.
