Josh Allen is 30 years old today, and the Buffalo Bills quarterback is running out of time to turn dominance into a championship.
Allen sits at 88 wins before age 30, just one behind Patrick Mahomes who leads with 89. He also ranks fourth all time in touchdown passes by 30, throwing 220, behind Mahomes at 247, Dan Marino at 245, and Peyton Manning at 244.
The stats are elite. The ring is missing.
Allen has never appeared in a Super Bowl, and after eight NFL seasons many consider him the best player in the league right now. The Bills shook things up this offseason, firing head coach Sean McDermott and promoting Brandon Beane to president of football operations, while offensive coordinator Joe Brady steps into the head coaching role.
Allen is entering his prime peak years, but the supporting cast and front office decisions around him have to match his level.
The talent is there. The question is whether the Bills are.
