Forza Horizon 6 has been out for barely a week and people are already breaking it wide open.
YouTuber XMBWesley dropped a guide that basically turns one of the best racing games in years into a screensaver. The move: load map code 197 337 317, slot in a 1998 Subaru Impreza 22B-STI, flip on auto-steering and assisted braking, then prop something against your controller trigger and go make dinner. Forty minutes later you come back to 100,000 credits. Repeat until you own every car in the game. You don’t even have to be in the room.
There’s also a shorter version using map code 121 812 769 where the game literally drives your car into objects for you, earning credits and skill points simultaneously. You pump those skill points back into the car, unlock more wheel spins and bonuses, and the money printer just keeps printing.
Look, I get it. Forza Horizon games have always had a bit of a grind baked into the progression, and not everyone wants to spend forty hours scraping together enough credits for a hypercar they saw in the first trailer. The temptation is real.
But here’s the thing , Playground Games built something that IGN called a new standard in open-world racing and gave a perfect 10. The actual racing is sharp. The humor is genuinely funny. People are turning the Peel P50, a car roughly the size of a riding lawnmower, into an absurd competitive machine. There’s a Pokémon Easter egg in there. The game is giving you stuff to discover. Skipping all of that to AFK your way to a full garage feels like buying a great meal and eating it in the parking lot.
Playground Games will almost certainly patch both exploits , it’s just a question of when. So if you’re determined to go this route, the window is open right now, but it’s closing.
Just know what you’re trading. A fully stocked garage you don’t remember earning is basically a spoiler for your own playthrough.
