A Reddit user spotted it first (because of course they did), posting an image showing the expansion port completely sealed up , just gone , while the regular auxiliary port is still chilling in its usual spot on the left side. Now, before you panic, this doesn’t necessarily mean Microsoft has smashed the molds and started fresh. The current theory is that they’re still using the same production molds as before, but simply not bothering to install the actual hardware for the expansion port anymore.
