Walmart Is Selling the RTX 5070 for Under $600 and That’s Kind of a Big Deal

Okay, PC builders, listen up , because this is the kind of deal that makes you want to drop everything and open a new browser tab immediately.

Walmart is currently selling the PNY GeForce RTX 5070 12GB graphics card for $599 with free shipping, and yes, that matters more than it might sound. We’re talking about the first time this card has dipped below the $600 mark in 2026. It’s still $50 above the official MSRP, which, fair enough, stings a little , but given how brutal GPU pricing has been lately, this is genuinely the best standalone deal floating around right now for Nvidia’s shiny new Blackwell architecture card.

So what does the RTX 5070 actually bring to the table? Think of it as the RTX 4070 Super’s slightly cooler, more capable younger sibling. It edges out the previous gen in raw performance, and if you’re gaming at 1080p or 1440p, it’s a total sweet spot. The real magic shows up in titles that support DLSS 4.5 with multi-frame generation , that’s where the frame rate gains get genuinely exciting rather than just incremental.

This particular PNY model is no slouch either. It rocks a slim 2.4-slot triple-fan cooling setup and comes with a modest factory overclock baked in. Basically, it’s ready to work right out of the box without you needing to tinker.

Now, here’s the wrinkle: Amazon is also stocking the PNY Epic-X version of the RTX 5070, but you’re looking at $630.70 over there , about $30 more than Walmart’s deal. HOWEVER, Amazon is part of Nvidia’s current promotional bundle, meaning buyers get a free download code for the game 007: First Light, dropping May 27th. Walmart? Not participating in that promo. So the real question is: do you want to save $30 now, or snag a free spy game later? Honestly, depends on how much you care about James Bond doing… whatever James Bond does in a video game.

Either way, if you’ve been sitting on the fence about upgrading your GPU setup, the window to act at a semi-sane price is clearly right now , before stock tightens up again and scalpers start doing what scalpers do.

Your wallet won’t thank you, but your frames per second absolutely will.
