Google kept dropping AI feature after AI feature at I/O and the Android Show, and the crowd ate it up. But there is one serious flaw making all of it feel hollow.
Gemini is locked to individual Google accounts. That means your work or school Gemini has zero knowledge of your personal life, and your personal Gemini knows nothing about your job or responsibilities. The two worlds never connect.
It gets worse if you run multiple accounts. Hobby accounts, a shared family account with your partner, separate work profiles. Gemini cannot pull context from any of them. Each account gets its own isolated version of the AI assistant, completely blind to the bigger picture of who you actually are.
Google is busy announcing smarter AI tools, longer context windows, and deeper Assistant integration, but none of that impresses when the assistant only knows half your life.
Fix the accounts problem first, then talk features.
