Apple is reportedly testing an iPhone 19 Pro prototype featuring a display that curves on all four edges. According to Chinese leaker Digital Chat Station, a trusted source with over three million Weibo followers and a solid Apple leak track record, the 2027 Pro model still carries a hole-punch cutout for the front camera while Face ID sits fully under the panel.
The twist? Apple is also rumored to be building a 20th-anniversary iPhone with a completely clean, cutout-free quad-curved screen. That commemorative model could sit above even the Pro Max in pricing and prestige.
The catch is Apple is struggling to hide the selfie camera under the display without hurting photo quality. If engineers cannot crack that, the whole differentiation strategy falls apart.
The same leaker previously nailed the iPhone Air design and iPhone 17 Pro triple 48MP camera setup, so this is worth watching closely.
